Tuition Fees

Tuition fees for the academic year 2026/27 have been set at £6,370 for both home and overseas students and are set by the College of Medicine and Veterinary Medicine.  The fees quoted are for one year of study only and are payable at time of matriculation. Students will also be given the option to pay fees in three instalments. A direct debit mandate must be completed by the student and the first instalment of 50% paid to be paid in early October 2026.  Two further payments of 25% will be taken in early December and early February.

Scholarships

The following limited scholarship opportunities are available to students applying to join the MSc in Paediatrics and Emergency Medicine for the academic year 2026-27:

The Glenmore Postgraduate Scholarship   Open. Closing date for completed applications Thursday 28 May 2026.

Edinburgh Global Online Learning Scholarships for Refugees and Displaced Students  Pending confirmation 2026-27.

The Merck Foundation Online Scholarships  Open.  Closing date for applications to be confirmed.

 

Graduate Discount Scheme

The University offers a 10% discount in postgraduate tuition fees for all alumni who have graduated with an undergraduate degree from the University of Edinburgh. The Graduate Discount Scheme applies to both home and overseas students, and applies to the self-funding element of the postgraduate tuition fee.
