The Deanery of Clinical Sciences is comprised of the Centre for Cardiovascular Science, the Centre for Clinical Brain Sciences, the Centre for Inflammation Research, the Centre for Regenerative Medicine, the Centre for Reproductive Health, Edinburgh Imaging, the Edinburgh Clinical Research Facility and the Edinburgh Dental Institute. Staff and facilities are based at the Edinburgh Bio-Quarter, the Western General, the Royal Edinburgh Hospital and the Royal Hospital for Children and Young People and the Lauriston Building. As a Postgraduate Research Student you will be based in one of our Centres and will become a member of the local team. The Clinical Sciences Teaching Organisation has oversite of all taught and research student activities within the Deanery of Clinical Sciences. They are also responsible for policy-making, quality assurance, approving concessions, degree programmes and progression decisions. If an issue develops that cannot be resolved at a local-level, either with your student support staff, supervisors or personal tutor, the CSTO Team are available to meet and discuss your circumstances.
