IMSc Cert 2017 Bernadette - Director of medical imaging

Bernadette, Director of Medical Imaging with a focus on prostate cancer research, completed the Edinburgh Imaging Academy Imaging Certificate in 2017 & has successfully used our programme as a stepping stone to her objective of pursuing a PhD. She discusses the opportunity it has offered her to expand her credentials & how she enjoyed the online approach.

"Being an online distance learner at the University of Edinburgh has offered me the opportunity to not only expand my credentials, but also to learn from an internationally recognised research institution.

I have the flexibility to study when I want, I can work full time, I am also a mother of four, so I couldn’t possibly choose a better institution to learn from and learn with."
