On Friday 21 March, a group of INCR colleagues and PhD students took MRI to the Castlebrae Community Science Festival It was an afternoon of fun-filled science activities aimed at 8 to 12-year olds, their parents, siblings and members of the wider community. We demonstrated how MRI is used to study brain health in humans and mice, to look at conditions such as multiple sclerosis, and how it can also be used to study other parts of humans and animals (even horses!)Beth York, Kelly Panichnantakul, Francesca Pentimalli Biscaretti Di Ruffia and Lucy Kershaw enjoyed an afternoon talking science with a wide community audience.It was a fun and collaborative event with support from colleagues across the University, including Raffee Wright from the Institute of Regeneration and Repair.
