Professor Edwin van Beek received this award with Special Distinction, for his prompt, detailed & scholarly reviews. We asked Professor van Beek his thoughts on receiving this recognition award. “The COVID pandemic generated an avalanche of research manuscript, & many journals were overwhelmed. Radiology opted for a rapid evaluation approach, selecting people with the capability & capacity to review more quickly than normal.
