Translating Imaging Physics to the Bedside. The British & Irish chapter of the ISMRM, annual meeting in Cardiff, Wales. Image Sulaiman Sarwar at the BIC-ISMRM 2022 meeting. Finally after 2 years of postponement, the ISMRM British & Irish Chapter came to Cardiff, the wonderful capital of Wales! The meeting's theme was: “Translating Imaging Physics to the Bedside”. According to the meeting's website, the meeting aimed to being together those from across all disciplines of MR research, from basic science to blue skies research, from pre-clinical to human imaging, and from physics to clinical applications. The meeting, highlighted the strength and depth of MR research in the BIC-ISMRM community. Every MR research area, no matter the organ, scale or technique, contributes to the clinical translation pipeline, ultimately benefitting patient. The meeting ran from 07 - 09 September, 2022.
