Michelle Williams and Michael McDermott will present at this year's ESOC conference and Neil Craig also shortlisted for the Young Investigator Prize in Imaging. The European Society of Cardiology (ESC) are holding their annual conference between 30 August - 2 September in London. Professor Michelle Williams will be presenting the 10-year results of the SCOT-HEART trial entitled "Coronary computed tomography angiography guided management of patients with stable chest pain: 10-year outcomes from the SCOT-HEART trial" at 08.37am on 1 September. Dr Michael McDermott, BHF Cardiology Research Fellow & Cardiology Registrar, will also be presenting results about a sub-study of the SCOT-HEART trial, "Cardiovascular Risk Scoring or CT Angiography for Lifestyle and Risk Factor Modification in Primary Prevention of Cardiovascular Disease The SCOT-HEART 2 IMPACT Study" on the same date at 9.11am:ESC Congress 2024 London - Smaller trials, trial updates and other studies on coronary artery diseaseBetween 12-1pm on 30 August, Dr Neil Craig has also been shortlisted for the Young Investigator Prize in Imaging and will present at 12pm, "Valvular and myocardial fibroblast activation in aortic stenosis: a prospective positron emission tomography study".
