Call for clinical abstracts for the 21st Medical Image Understanding & Analysis 2017 conference - deadline 24 Feb 2017. Conference dates 11-13 Jul 2017. Conference location: Edinburgh. The conference is organised for communicating research progress within the community interested in biomedical image analysis. Its goals are the dissemination and discussion of research in medical image analysis and aims to encourage the growth and raise the profile of this multi-disciplinary field which has an ever-increasing real-world applicability. The conference constitutes an excellent opportunity to network, generate new ideas, establish new collaborations, learn and discuss on different topics, listen to proffered speakers of international reputation, present and show medical image analysis tools and even experience the delights of a genuine Scottish ceilidh. CLINICAL ABSTRACTS SUBMISSION Authors are invited to submit clinical abstracts that fit on one A4 page. Calibri font with minimum font size of 11 is preferred. The page margins should be no less than 1 cm on left and right hand sides and no less than 2 cm on top and bottom. Abstracts could be uploaded via the Conference website. However, if the abstract contains figure(s) and/or table(s), it needs to be sent via e-mail to miua2017@ed.ac.uk in MS Word 2013 format. Abstract format: The abstract page should contain: Title, Authors and Affiliations, Introduction (i.e. Background and Purpose), Methods, Results, Discussion (or Conclusion), References and Acknowledgements if any. Tables and Figures are optional, and can be included as long as they fit within the page.
