This will feature Professor Joanna Wardlaw in conversation with Professor James Leiper. Joanna is Chair of Applied Neuroimaging & Head of Neuroimaging Sciences and Edinburgh Imaging at the University of Edinburgh. She is the Director of the Row Fogo Centre for Research into Ageing and the Brain. Specialising in vascular disease and brain imaging, and with a strong commitment to cross-disciplinary collaboration, she is in the top 100 most highly cited researchers in the UK, and internationally recognised for her work on the pathophysiology of cerebral small vessel disease and brain ageing.Joanna is a Group Leader at the UK Dementia Research Institute (UK DRI), with whom the BHF have recently partnered to launch the BHF's Centre for Vascular Dementia Research.Please click here to view the full invitation.
