Principal PET Physicist Vacancy - Closing 28 June 2024 11.59pm Grade UE09 £61,198-£75,498 Deanery of Clinical Sciences Full-time: 35 hours per week Fixed-term: 5 years (September 2030) The Opportunity: Provide specialist scientific support for clinical and research PET services at the Edinburgh Imaging Facility based in QMRI undertaking the statutory duties of a Medical Physics Expert (MPE) in accordance with the requirements of the Ionising Radiation (Medical Exposure) Regulations (2017). The post will support Scotland’s only Total Body PET and PETMRI scanners. This post is full-time (35 hours per week) and for up to five years (to 30 September 2030). Your skills and attributes for success: Honours degree in physical science and MSc in Medical Physics.
