Be sure to check at which centre your appointment is, before you set out from home. What do I need to know about my scan in the: Edinburgh Imaging Facility - The Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh Hospital (EIF RIE) When you arrive at EIF-RIE: You will need to buzz for access at the main door. We will ask you to be seated in the reception area. Once seated, we will ask you to complete a screening form. A radiographer will collect you when it's time for your scan. Read our FAQ on having a MR scan Directions to EIF-RIE Edinburgh Imaging Facility - Queen's Medical Research Institute (EIF-QMRI) When you arrive at EIF-QMRI: You will need to buzz for access at the main door. Please report to the reception desk, which is downstairs. We will ask you to be seated in the reception area. Once seated, we will ask you to complete any appropriate forms.
