15 May 21. New cardiac imaging educational resource

This cardiac imaging educational resource is derived from the cardiac imaging study: "Determining the mechanism of myocardial injury & role of coronary disease in type 2 myocardial infarction" (DEMAND-MI-NCT03338504).

The DEMAND-MI educational resource will compile one hundred (100) clinical vignettes for all study participants including history, examination findings, routine hospital investigations such as haematology, biochemistry blood tests, electrocardiogram & study imaging.

This educational resource will include: 

• A series of 100 cases with a clinical diagnosis of type 2 myocardial infarction
• All relevant clinical information on admission
• Relevant coronary imaging (invasive coronary angiogram or CT coronary angiogram) & cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) imaging studies
• An interface which allows you to select & enlarge images
• Case summaries which outline the adjudication panel's approach, once all available information was reviewed.

Today's launch aims to pilot the educational resource using five (5) initial cases.

We aim to populate the remainder of the educational resource with the full 100 case complement by 31 Aug 2021.

We will let those who register now, know, as batches of new cases go live.
