Comparator group recruitment for MRC-funded PRENCOG study (PREterm Neurodevelopment and COGnition: mechanisms and cause evidence) Professor James Boardman is leading on an Medical Research Council funded study entitled, "PRENCOG study (PREterm Neurodevelopment and COGnition: mechanisms and cause evidence)"His team are actively recruiting for a comparator group: women who give birth after 37 weeks.Participation involves antenatal recruitment, umbilical cord blood and placenta sampling, questionnaires, and neonatal MRI brain.
