You will take a key role in senior managerial meetings across the campus, Deanery and College; contributing to implementation of changes in policy and practices to address legislative and organisational need at the University of Edinburgh.Your skills and attributes for success:At least 4-years’ experience of management at a senior level (including financial authority) Confidence and leadership skills with significant experience of successfully leading a team of staff which includes organising, prioritising and delegating work and the ability to manage performance, motivate and coach support staff, building an effective team.Training in, and experience of, managing and controlling budgets / resources / funding and an understanding of financial management proceduresExcellent inter‐personal skills, with ability to influence and negotiate, manage change, manage resistance, build relationships, and communicate effectively and persuasively with stakeholders at all levels within the University as well as external bodies.Excellent written communication skills and able to produce a range of materials for different audiences and recipients with the ability to deliver key messages clearly and consistently.
