Most human research imaging data is created on MR scanners.

This data is then:

  • Processed
  • Linked to non-imaging clinical & biological data
  • Analysed
  • Re-analysed (often for years after the original collection)

Many rapidly changing research tools may be applied to the data.

It is essential that you adhere to good data management practices because of these challenges curating data & our reliance on 'human infrastructure', .
