"My name is Miriam Nandi, I am a Norwegian living in Malawi.

The reason I chose to study at the University of Edinburgh is because I was living abroad and I wanted a flexible study within radiology, for a master’s degree.

Yes, where I work there are not many radiologists so during this programme I have become more conscious, I’ve become more knowledgeable.

The programme is very flexible – you get all the dates in advance so you know when you have to deliver assignments, you know you have group work and all of that. The exams are very flexible – you have several days where you can log on whenever you are able to.

So I’ve used it quite a lot in my job as a radiographer now – you get to learn how to do a proper literature review, and I think that for me, I’ve used my thesis to go a bit more towards public health, but now I’m kind of in radiology towards public health, and I think this will help me further on.

I would definitely recommend the programme. I would recommend it for everyone who’s interested in imaging, be that radiographers, doctors, veterinaries."
