HTML Transcript "When you arrive at the Edinburgh Imaging RIE facility, you will press a buzzer to gain access to the facility & be greeted by the retinal imaging technician. Your name & appointment will be confirmed. You will be asked to complete a safety checklist. The technician will go through this with you. The technician will take you through to the retinal imaging room. This is a ‘controlled area’ which can only be accessed by authorised staff. The retinal imaging technician will adjust the chin rest & table height, & you will be asked to focus on the centre of a blue cross. The exam may take between 5-10 minutes.
